Titan Fight! Part 1

Which Titan unit is the best? This week we compare the biggest units from the original 4 races!

Warhound Titan

Race: Space Marines

Pros: Big stats. High chance of gaining a flag thanks to the Space Marine fleet ability. Unblockable shooting. Shiny promo card.

Cons: Can only shoot vehicles. Low die roll. Crappy command line.

Rating: 6/10 – Niche But Cool

Phantom Titan

Race: Eldar

Pros: Big firepower paired with fair speed. Invulnerable save. Repeatable artillery for maximum boomage.

Cons: No flags. Bad die roll. VERY bad command line (I’m noticing a pattern here…), but can be mitigated through the Eldar fleet ability.

Rating: 7/10 – Versatile and strong, but don’t leave it in your command hand

Revenant Scout Titan

Race: Eldar

Pros: Flag unit with high armor. Useful command line. Unique BA ability to kill stronger units with your weaker ones.

Cons: Low die roll. BA ability is somewhat situational since you cannot control what dies. Average assault value.

Rating: 7.5/10 – Doesn’t Skip Leg Day

Subjugator Titan

Race: Chaos

Pros: High armor. Repeatable 3+ destroy ability (wait, what?). Crab claws.

Cons: No flags. Unique (because fighting one Subjugator wasn’t enough).

Rating: 9/10 – Most Broken Crab Boi

Gargant

Race: Orks

Pros: Flag unit. Invulnerable save (that doesn’t require rolling!). Subjugator-like ability.

Cons: Low die roll.

Rating: 7/10 – Brutally Cunnin’, or Cunningly Brutal?

Da Squisha

Race: Orks

Pros: Can destroy multiple units. Somewhat useful armor boosting ability.

Cons: Average die roll. Negative command line. Assault ability is somewhat situational.

Rating: 7/10 – Hangriest Boi

Honorary Titan: Ghazghkull’s Command Gargant

Race: Orks

Pros: Flag unit. Repeatable destruction ability that synergizes with Goffs fleet card. Great command line.

Cons: Bad die roll. Unique.

Rating: 8.5/10 – A Goff Masterpiece
